A lot can happen over coffee, why not chai then?
Multiple cafes are redefining the chai ki chuski and the Chai story is one of them. It’s a small cozy place where you can head over for gupshups and chai with your squad or even a long lost friend to catch up with time. 🙂
It’s a small cafe with a cozy and warm atmosphere. Located in the heart of the city, it gets quite an attention. The place is cute and relaxing. Best enjoyed during rains and winter evenings.
The best things first. Samosa is a staple food of us, North Indians, especially with chai and rain. You can find a variety of titbits to hog on, on the menu. We had a pizza samosa and a chicken samosa. Both were amazing and satisfied our palate. They were freshly prepared and the rest part, they were non-oily (P.s. I hate greased fingers while eating 😐 )
Then, we had a round of pasta including, Indian Tadka Pasta which was cooked in tomato and onion chopped gravy, garam masala and all other Indian spices. The pasta was delicious and I think this was the best amongst the others that we had. Cheese lovers? We recommend you have the Cheesy pasta because it is loaded with the right amount of cheese, it doesn’t taste only like cheese but you will relish all the other flavours that it surprises you with. On the other hand, Schezwan pasta was only spicy and nothing else. It had no vegetables and was only cooked in the instant schezwan sauce.
Pizza miss having the variety but they taste good. Choosing from only 3 variations, we had the chicken pizza and it was amazing and the chicken was well cooked. It had loads of cheese and perfectly baked.
Burgers, on the other hand, had a lot of variety and we indulged our palates in the Seekh Kebab Bun. The kebab was spicy and crisp. We really liked the idea of Indianizing the western fast food. It’s worth a try and it really astonishes you with the outbursts of flavours.
