Are you the bookworm, who wants to hog on every book on Earth?
Or are you the collector, who wants each and every book to be a part of your prestigious collection?
Or are you just a fan of books and read them leisurely?
Well then, it’s good news for you!
Delhi brings you the World Book Fair held at Pragati Maidan until 15th January 2017.
To start with, this year’s main publications were the Penguin Random House India and Macmillan Books. You can find heavy rush here, of course. Other Foreign participants included White Lotus Books, Sri Lanka Book Publishers, The Japan Foundation, Iran Cultural House, German Books and many other. Well, you can definitely find variety in this year’s Book Fair.
You could find books ranging from fiction to science, computing to non-fiction, books for children to adults, engineering to social science and academics to religion. People finding for a specific book that is hard to find at the local bookstore, you can definitely find them here.
To be honest, the kid’s section is so amazing that you would want to become a kid all over again!
I happened to come across so many offers, that even I was lured into buying books. While some had 10-20% discount, the LiFi Publications had a “Take a Selfie” Discount. Now, this is what I call creativity. It was fun getting the discount and the selfie, of course.
And once you are done with the shopping, you can go over to the food court and hog on to something delicious!
For people visiting the Book Fair for the first time, beware of the pickpocketers.
