38 Barracks , a place I have absolutely fallen in love with. With delicious food , great music and a amicable ambience this place has every ingredient to make it a good restaurant.
The decor of this place has been designed keeping in mind an army personnel’s house and is divided into a drawing room, balcony, a personal bar etc. The interior is definitely something which will amaze you. From medals, to old telephone, monochrome photographs, guns and rifles, every single aspect of the décor speaks loudly about the theme.
And not just the décor, but also their menu is carefully curated with items that have been popular with major battalions of the world. The music here is very good which makes the place very lively. The staff is also very courteous.
For drinks we ordered two mocktails, Military Camp and 48th Battallion both of which were fully paisa vasool!
The Military Camp Mocktail was presented in a Bulb Glass immersed in another glass full of crushed ice . An amazing combination of orange, peach syrup and grenadine brought a strong and refreshing taste. Found my favorite in this one!
48th Battalion was a watermelon based mocktail, with some apple juice; sprite, green chilies and sour mix thrown in. It indeed was a very refreshing and tasty.
Food-wise, we had one of the most delicious lunch experiences ever!
Yum yum!! is what I have to say about their Awadh Murgh Biryani. I am still swooning over it. It was spicy, the quantity was good and the chicken was cooked perfectly.
We also ordered their chicken Lasagna pasta and a Gardenira Pizaa which were also very tasty and delicious.
So there you go, people; it’s no secret I enjoyed my time at 38 Barracks and would definitely recommend this place to all the readers!!
